Vol. 2 is a bit more drawn out than those that have listened to volume one, its heavier with a more phychedelic feel with long guitar rifts etc. (see Mike Selesia's "Brute Strength") Great addition to all the soul/funk comps that have dropped so far this year.

hey man,
i meant to mention if you dig the bay area funk comp., you should check out Searching For Soul: Rare And Classic Soul, Funk And Jazz From Michigan, 1968-1980
also on the same Ubiquity/Luv'N'Haight label.
nice selections. i think you would dig it.
