Issue me a late pass on this one. The Cool Kids aka Chuck and Mikey hail from my new hometown of Chicago IL. Their upcoming debut is Bake Sale and if the music on their myspace is any indication its going to be a reeealll big hip hop record this year. "88" and "Mickey Rocks" are already on constant rotation and all I can do is stream them...
These dude's deliberate and steady beats are a nice switch up from all that commercial stuff coming out these days...their heavy beats and clever lyrics are perfect and their new record is heavily anticipated. The new record is out on on Fools Gold Records founded by A-trak and Catchdubs. Check out a track.

i've got a little tip for you from across the atlantic to help with that frustrating streaming tracks you love off of myspace. if you download the firefox plugin downloadhelper (all one word) it will allow you to save streamed audio from any site (find it here http://www.downloadhelper.net/). you need to add the .mp3 suffix to whatever you download but apart from that it's aces. sorry for bunging up your comments with tech-geekery. and big thanks for the ag, it's still my first port of call in the mornings.

yeah, it's weird, it happened half way through a day too (though i'm in the uk so it might have made more sense in your timezone) it was fine when i checked on wednesday am and say the amy winehouse post but went tits up after that. wish i could help out but i'm rather technically inept. good luck with it... if it helps any i remember gvb having a similar-ish problem which turned about to be caused by a youtube link they'd posted a few months back. jb

& like i mentioned, try removing all your embedded players (at least from one page worth of posts) & it should appear correctly in firefox. now if someone could just tell us WHY it does it & HOW to make it jive with all browsers.
