Rhymesayers' newest record is Brother Ali's The Undisputed Truth which couldn't be more amply titled. Its an open book on Ali's political, personal and emotional dealings. Sam Chennault of Pitchfork describes it as:

Ali's focus on his inner landscape is the rapper's greatest asset and his biggest liability. There are times when his tales of personal disillusionment, righteous political anger, and emotional calamity are scarily realistic, but as often as not this obsession with his own emotions is incredibly megalomaniacal and incalculably boring. It isn't that his troubles are minor or tedious, it's that we don't entirely know his troubles--only that he's troubled.
There are some great stand out tracks. One that takes on Ali's frustration with the current Bush foreign policy stands out in my mind:

Mp3: Brother Ali - "Letter from the Government"

While this album has some faults and is not always executed well there is always merit in putting your heart and soul into a record and I always like it when artists deal with politics and personal beliefs in their music. Ali's first single off the record is "Truth Is" which you can download a clean version of here.

i got love for ali, but yeah it can get tedious to listen to him sometimes, but i can't hate. he's good with words and always has a nice ear for beats.

hey, thats my image. great artist, great album. i'm absolutely in love with and have been playing it constantly for the past couple months. especially love the last 3 tracks and the more political take he has on this album.. i think it reflects his first album a lot, yet is more refined. thanks for the credit btw.
