An excuse more than anything to post that picture but the most confident dude in hip hop. His new album Graduation is set for release late this year and I am most certainly excited about that. Not sure if this track is going to be on it but its certainly a reference to Common's classic "I Used to Love H.E.R." off of his 1994 release Resurrection.

Mp3: Kanye West - "I Still Love H.E.R."

Thanks to Martin for the heads up on this one. Swede's on top of their game.

EDIT: This track is NOT going to be on Graduation, its a track that Kanye did with the Teriyaki Boyz (that name is ridiculous! how can you not do better than that?) from Japan (thanks Mike). Its a new single out Jan. 24th.

The Teriyaki Boyz were created by Bathing Ape founder and producer, Nigo and now that we are on the subject their Beef or Chicken album (which I haven't heard) has crazy producers on it the Neptunes, Ad Rock (Beastie Boys), Daft Punk, DJ Premier (Gang Starr), DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Mark Ronson, Dan the Automator, and Just Blaze.

The song, while not good, isn't god-awful until you've seen/heard the Teriyaki Boyz version which then just ruins the track from there on out....can't get their goddamn corny-ass antics outta my head when I hear the beat now. Oh well....
