Its too bad that the feel good story of the year had to get in the Bears way, but all good things must come to an end. The Bears rolled the Saints 39-14. Saints made it close in the 2nd but the Bears defense and the ground game proved to be too much.

Well done Coach Smith. Dude deserves an extension and some big time money as he is currently the lowest paid coach in the league which is a damn travesty. Ohh and how classy was Reggie Bush on that 88 yard run? Yeah your right he wasn't.

It was a beautiful day.

Benson breaking arms and hearts all the way to Miami baby.

that two back attack is going to look real good against a crappy (although not lately) COLTS run defense.

k,

are you worried?

a bit the nice conditions in Miami are no Soldiers Field. The Colts offense is going to be tough to start.

Lets hope Rex comes out to play one last time.

Benson and Jones just showed the naysayers and "experts" who the best damn running back tandem in the L is, kids.....

Bush and Deuce? Not likely!
Maroney and Dillon? Not anytime soon.
Any others? Don't matter.

The Monsters of the Midway are rollin' to Miami and will take their "underdog" status with them on their way to hoisting the Lombardi Trophy on Feb. 4

and that little taunt/flip/dance move just proves how "Bush league" that little punk-ass Reggie is.....don't think for a minute that urlacher and Co. will EVER forget that shit when they play the Saints in years to come.

funny you say that white silk. i was listening to ESPN radio and they were talking about just how sorry Bush is going to be in the next pile up he has with the bears. Eric allen was like "Dude is going to be sorry when he is catching those extra jabs at the bottom of that pile."

Heres to Urlacher/Harris/Briggs mowing down Bush next time his squirmy ass is in Chicago.

i'm sure bush doesn't give a shit. especially considering that he's going to be a better player than anyone on the entire bears roster.

expect many more of those 88 yard runs in years to come.

good luck to the bears anyway. i'm hoping for at least two interceptions by manning.

"i'm sure bush doesn't give a shit. especially considering that he's going to be a better player than anyone on the entire bears roster."

There are at least two things about that statement that are absolutely ridiculous!

1) Because a player is talented and has the ability to make plays on the field justifies the bullshit that he did after scoring a TD??? REALLY?? Don't you think, if Bush is really that good, he should act like he's been there before and, maybe even might do it again?! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's many Hall of Fame players who EVER pulled that crap in their career, least of all in a playoff game (Lynn Swann, Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, Jim Brown, Brett Favre, Joe Montana, Dan Marino, John Elway, you need me to go on, cause I certainly can??!!). Maybe Bush SHOULD start giving a shit....it might do him and his team so good.

2) Don't you think it's a bit foolish to make a statement that he's "better than any player on the Bears roster" when you consider that Brian Urlacher was Rookie of the Year (something Bush was NOT this season), has been selected to the Pro-Bowl 5 times in his 6 year career, was last season's Defensive Player of the Year, is the clear-cut leader of one of the top 5 defenses in the League year-in/year-out, and will continue to rack up accolades and awards as his career progresses??!!!

I'd say that your statement is either really naive and/or way off target.

I apologize to any readers who take the view that this is typically a music blog and this sports-related topic is boring but, as a frequent visitor/commenter to this great blog, I found aa's comment just plain dumb and couldn't sit back without replying.

you got my full support Silk.

Shit is just foolish. Like you said GREAT players act like they have seen the endzone before and will see it again soon.

Football is a Team game not a one person thing and when dudes pull bs like Bush did its just ugly.
