Augusto Pinochet the brutal Chilean dictator died at 91 today. No love lost for a dude that ended democracy and led a regime characterized by torture and favouritism towards the rich. The Rettig Commission has listed that Pinochet is responsible for approximately 2,095 deaths.

He lived 91 years too long. He will not be given a state funeral and no official day of national mourning will be declared. The world is a better place.

Yes, good riddance after 91 years too long. I'm glad he is dead, but I am sorry he was not made to pay for his crimes first.

Look at those shades. It's a good job they nailed him for human rights abuses 'cos the style police couldn't touch him.
