AG is on board with Barack in 2008. The man is the truth. He is genius. He is honest. He is motivating. He is focused. Was talking about him on some forums yesterday. Be sure to check out the latest issue of Time for a great article. Here is a clip of him on Charlie Rose Thursday night.

He's pretty conservative! I think this is a rehash of Bill Clinton as great liberal saviour who turned around and made the Republican agenda his own.

i have to agree. obama is fairly conservative. definitely not a liberal, but yet still embraced by liberals. i think more than a little of that love is due to the fact that he's black (and also partly because he has very good credentials).

I like him! Smart, humble, well spoken, he's a rare gem in the world of politics. When he was asked about campaign financing the other day on NPR he said he plays the money game cuz he has to but that he believes in public financing of political campaigns. That's a BIG deal to me. We must take back control of our political system from big money.(Lobbyist reform is essential!!!) Needless to say, this is not a conservative view. If that's what your looking for, look no further than Hilary Clinton. Despite being called a liberal by her political opponents she comes from a very conservative family and as they say "The apple never falls far from the tree". Just listen to what comes out of her mouth, "flag burning amendments???".." Videogame violence crackdown??"...."torture's OK???" How often do you see American flags burned(In America). I do however, have to agree that Bill Clinton was the best Republican President of the last 30years.

I'm guessing that Dems believe that a Clinton/Obama ticket is this year's Mondale/Ferraro special.

I'm all for public financing, but I'm not going to vote for a Democrat who's also so many other things that I don't care for.

Actually I'm kinda psyched to see what happens with the Labor Party in South Carolina, since they've achieved ballot access there, and I think they can be successful [SC is like a microcosm of the national political scene in that neither Dems nor Repubs are responsive to their constituents there.]

I think the Democratic Party needs a middle of the road candidate in order to win a natioanl election. A liberal candidate not win nationally (at least not in our current political climate of 'terror').

Obama has integrity and solid ethics which are crucial characteristics for any candidate. Also, to his benefit he does not have much a voting record. Usually, from a voters perspective I would view this as an area for caution, however Obama just feel different.

He is genuine. As far as similarities to Bill Clinton go I think they are both skilled public speakers and charasmatic, but thats where the similarites end for me.

I hope Obama runs, and if he does I believe he will get the nomination. What worries me is how big a factor race will be. Also, I am concerned about the prospect of Hilary running against him. (My personal bias is for an electable women candidate-regardless of the party, because the lack of women in Congress and never in the White House makes me sick) That said, I am hoping for Obama 2008 because as far as I can tell no other potential candiate has his outstanding level of integrity.

obama rocks stop questioning. more intelligence and smarts then clinton ever had. has integrity by the boatloads and better than any other chump the dems could think of putting up. out classes everyone out there right now by a long shot.

labor party? give me a fucking break how long you been in the states? this is a two party system we go here wether you like it or NOT!

OBAMA 2008.
