Count Bass D has been making records since 1995 and is one of the more innovative bedroom producers in the genre.
What makes this Nashville cat so unique is that the Count largely does it all, produces, plays live instruments for the album instrumentation along with doing the singing and rhyming. No small feat in today's world of sampling, drum machines and pro tools.
His latest is Act Your Waist Size which came out on Oct. 17th on Fat Beats. This album marks the first time the Count uses a drum machine on a record. I am less concerned really with how he makes his albums, I am more interested in the result. The result is a great addition to your underground collection. Be sure to check it out.
