RJD2 released an instrumental version of his album with Aceyalone this year but until now I didn't think he had any new material due out in 2006. Correctly titled RJ has a single out called "Here's What's Left." Its a pretty great track. Check it out.

Mp3: RJD2 - "Here's Whats Left" *fixed

Buy: RJD2 records here.

Reader Update: White Silk added that its actually not a new cut but is what he thought a hidden track on RJ's debut record Deadringer (which I have at home and need to check!) and by popular demand issued as a 12". Thanks Silk for the lowdown!

That's actually not a new RJ track - I believe it was originally a Hidden Track on 2002's "Deadringer" and by popular demand, I believe he issued it as a 12" back in the day. Further bacground is that the vocal portion (Oh, how I miss you baby..") is lifted from the Intruder's joint, Memories are Here to Stay.

Great track by RJ, though - new or old!

white silk is correct. "here's what's left" was once available on initial copies of Deadringer, but for copyright reasons (or some such thing) later pressings of Deadringer had to take it off. and yes, it was also released as a 12" single through the Altered Vibes label in the UK. you might still be able to buy copies through RJD2's website if i'm not mistaken.

Silk is absolutley right!! This was one of if not my favorite RJ track forever...its hidden about 3 or so minutes after the end of "Work," on most versions of "Deadringer." However I have played Work from friends IPods and they have been versions w/o this track...peasss
