Well to update on an earlier story I have to say the karma of me returning the wallet came full circile. Today my girlfriend called down to the local police department and it turns out that somebody had found my iPod on the street and turned it in.
Kind renews your confidence in the good character of people. Whoever was the kind sole that picked up 250 bucks that was lying on the street and turn it in. I am forever thankful. How fantastic. Wish I knew who they where so I could buy them a couple rounds.
Damn. Finding the iPod was great but the boost of knowing there are great people out there might been even more encouraging.

Dude not to bring you down or anything but Derek Lee broke his wrist. That sucks.
the iPod story is awesome. That shit definitely gives me fresh faith in humanity, without doubt.
The DLee shit makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry.
so great when karma doesn't smack you upside the head, but puts an iPod back in your bag! great news (and, unfortunately, almost hard to believe, espec. w/ all news about stick up kids targeting anyone w/ white ear buds (but maybe not so much in the Green Mt State)).
anyway glad you got the tunes back --cheers
yeah the d. lee thing is tough. guess they are going to have walker at first and get hairston at 2b.
rough the cubs now have debatably three all-stars on the DL. tough to replace the irreplaceable.
my friend lost his wallet and then got it in the mail with his 50 bucks still in it.
great to hear you got the iPod back. really shows that there are some great people still out there. however, something tells me that if that happened here in Los Angeles, result wouldn't be the same. question though, with such an eclectic taste in music, a nano is enough for your tunes?
thanks nate. actually i have an iPod as well (20gb). its one of the originals i use that quite a bit the nano is just great for the size and i can use it when i "work out" and go running.
Rock!
I love these kinds of stories.
Word. That's why I gotta move back to my home state soon, the people are just so unconditionally nice.
dude, melissa told me about that & my very response was "only in vermont" - if anyones deserves a break like that it's you!
k.dogg,
Makes me feel good about being a human. There are lots of wonderful people in the world. Just having the oipportunity to occasionally interact with them is so enriching.
