One of my all time favorite turntablists has to be Kid Koala. He was born and raised in Vancouver BC just north of the border from where I went to college. I am not sure if he is stalking me but he is now based out of and went to school in Montreal which is now just north of where I live.

Anyways, Eric San aka Kid Koala is signed to Ninja Tune and has released two solo lps, Carpel Tunnel Sydrome and Some of My Best Friends Are DJs. While his music isn't the most accessable to those that don't like turntablism and hip-hop, it is surely some of the best. Third world lover is probably the most accessible of the selections.

Excellent. I haven't listened to much of KK, so I'll have to give these a spin. And, you'll be happy to know, I'm a Cubs guy. I do like Pierre/Jones. But I think you're right: They're lacking another bat; Tejada woulda been great, but not at the cost of a stud pitcher. I'm skeptical of a Ronny Cedeno/Todd Walker middle infield, though I love Walker's bat.
