My home, Washington State is were the hooping is. University of Washington is ranked 13th in the country, Gonzaga is 6th, and even Washington State University got 4 votes to be in the top 25. ESPN's bracketology dropped recently as well.
You may think we are only good for microbrews, rain and apples, but you better watch yourself. Hell if it goes like the Bracketology has it, it could be an all eastern washington sweet 16 with the Zags v. WSU...pretty huge.
Zags are going to be tough with Morrison (projected #2 in this years NBA draft)(28 ppg), Batista (18.6), and Ravio (13.5) come tournament time and I love the way Romar coaches the Dawgs (UW). Looking forward to March.
Once football season is over and the Bears have gone to the Superbowl I can focus my attention upon College Basketball.

UPDATE: Morrison just dropped 34-6-5 on Santa Clara...not exactly Duke but still. Page 2 is bringing up the Bird comparisons again this time with a bit of perspective. Chuck Klosterman hits it, if Adam was black and had the same game would he still be compared to Bird? I don't think so. He's good but until he goes pro and does similiar things he is no Larry. I guess both have the nasty staches going for them. Chuck says:
"Adam Morrison is kind of like Larry Bird. He's not exactly like Larry Bird, but he's closer to Bird than any college player of the past 20 years. This similarity, it would seem, is obvious. However, I find myself uncomfortable writing the sentence, "Adam Morrison is kind of like Larry Bird." I am well aware some people will consider this sentiment to be potentially racist, and my unconscious, internal reaction is to mildly agree with them."
