Good morning everyone. Hope everyone had a great Friday. Our first selection is a new track from Hot Chip who need no introduction. Their new album In Their Heads is due out June 11th. Not sure what I think about this initial track. It doesn't build quite as fast as I would hope and doesn't have their typical polish. Really looking forward to the new record.

The second track is a great disco remix by Vancouver's Mark Penner aka Cyclist of Change's track "A Lover's Holiday." His originals are just as awesome as his remixes. Check out this original.

Saving the best for last we have an awesome remix by the Magician. Great work on Sebastien Tellier's track "Cochon Ville." Its a can't miss. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Never quite gave much thought to Hot Chip until I heard their cover of Vampire Weekend's "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" with Peter Gabriel. "Flutes" is the most infectious track I've heard from them so far, still needing to flip through their back catalogue. I love the distortion in the back of the track. Sounds a lot like what Radiohead did in "Idioteque".

I featured "Flutes" in a recent post.... http://icanseebetterthroughthefog.wordpress.com/2012/05/23/oh-deer/
