Spank Rock aka Naeem Juwan (MC Spank Rock) and producer Alex Epton (XXXChange) have finally released a follow up to their great debut. The duo will be touring in support of their second record, Everything Is Boring and Everyone Is a F***ing Liarand our set to land in Chicago on October 28th at The Mid. I have never seen them live but based on the pictures and video I have seen it looks like they put on one hell of a show.
I still love listening to "Rick Rubin" on a regular basis. Their first single from this record is "Energy" which feels more poppy than hip hop. It comes across as a bit of a Talking Heads/TV on the Radio hybrid...regardless its a nice introduction to the new record. Check it out... Energy (prod. by Boys Noize) by Spank Rock
