Sound Opinions is a great show that aires on WBEZ Chicago Public Radio Fridays at 8 pm. The hosts are Jim DeRogatis of the Chicago Sun-Times and Greg Kot of the Chicago Tribune. Its a nice entry into the "Best of" Month which is Blogger's December. Their lists certainly had some suprises with both of them choosing Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! as the best album of the year.

Overall its not that I don't agree that their choices were great records but the order of importance seems very wrong. Not placing Dear Science in his top 10 is a huge oversight by Mr. DeRogatis. Kot's list was certainly more along what I invisioned as the best of 2008. My list as I am sure everyone is looking forward to is coming soon.
