McCain is saying Obama is out of touch? Well thats real rich (lets say $5 million dollars rich). While Obama made around 4 million last year he does only own one home versus the seven that McCain has. McCain couldn't even remember how many homes he had when asked. Best part about this whole thing was that when McCain was telling homeowners struggling with their mortgages were doing the right thing by skipping their vacations he purchased his $2.7 million dollar condo in Coronado.

i agree that the 5 million dollar comment was made in just. the predatory lending and those that are victims of it need some type of help i agree. speculators and the predatory morgage lenders should be punished.
In terms of the Rezko piece lets not forget he has said he regrets his dealings with him and since early June, Obama has given to charity more than $21,000 in donations that his Senate campaign had received from Rezko associates now linked to the federal inquiries. He gave away $11,500 from Mr. Rezko himself last fall.
Obama says he never did any favors for Mr. Rezko, who raised about $150,000 for his campaigns over the years and was once one of the most powerful men in Illinois. There is also no sign that Mr. Obama did anything improper.
This is hardly an instance to bury his political career or chance at the Presidency. I think that it is important to remember the the President in my mind is a motivator, a storyteller and a leader. Policy is crafted by policy analysts. We havent had a person with vision and leadership in the white house for a long time and I see Obama as that person.
