Matt Edwards of Radio Slave has a new side project called Quiet Village. Quiet village is Mr. Edwards and Joel Martin get very mellow. Martin is an ex-film editor and music aficionado. The duo is named after a fake-Hawaiian Les Baxter track from the fifties.
I am not sure if the myspace is official but you need to go check out this record. Its awesome. Super laidback and mellow. Just what you need in your life after a long day of work. You can download a couple tracks off the myspace. Take a listen to track off the record:
