So the black background is OK in Firefox at least the content is legible but if any webdesign heads could tell me why the white is not extending down in Firefox that would be great. I can see the start of the white bar just under the banner but it doesn't continue to float down through the middle like it does in ie. I really want to get this thing looking good in Firefox since I back Firefox more than ie.

I might just blow the whole thing up so inspiring graphic designers let me know if you are interested!

Thanks for any help in advance.

(I think your html has some nesting issues in general - dreamweaver spit out a bunch of errors. but whatever - that doesn't seem to be the source of the problem.)

Couldn't find a CSS only fix, but I did stumble upon something that seems to work:

In your footer, right after the comment "!-- Begin #footer --"

and before the "/div"

try adding:

"[open carrot]br style="clear:both; line-height:0px;" /[close carrot]"

(had to omit carrot chars to post)

I think the problem had to do with both columns being floats. This should fix that. Haven't done any X-browser testing (what a bitch!) but this shouldn't break anything...

Keep serving up the tasty tracks!

Here's the static source code grab I diagnosed and fixed yesterday:

It looks good on FF and IE... and the ONLY change was that br tag - white BG seems to extend all the way down to me? Is that what you saw?

Yesterday you were missing some closing tags from the footer... IF you have dreamweaver you can copy the static source code, paste it into a new file and run a "file > validate markup" - it'll tell you what's what.
