I am sickened by what has happened today at Virginia Tech. My heart and thoughts go out to all those that are suffering because of this inexplicable act of hate and violence. 33 dead so far, so awful, so disgusting.

I have no idea what this country's problem is with guns and violence. While this is a normal day in Iraq (which should put things in perspective), this kind of stuff shouldn't be happening anywhere, let alone our places of education. Places where people are trying to better themselves.

Its time to get guns in this country under control. What a tradegy. Sometimes I just question what in the hell is wrong with people. Again, my heart goes out to those that lost loved ones. So disturbing and so so sad.

I'm with you, man - that's some serious bullshit that went down at V-Tech yesterday and this country needs to take a serious look at the gun issue (laws, control, rights, you name it) in our land......

im not sure if i understand the question. i was stating the fact that this number of people die in iraq on a daily basis and that this type of loss of human life so close to home should put in perspective all the people that die in Iraq. that is what i was trying to say.

wit-cha k. cant believe that this is acceptable to people when it happens at a distance but panties get up in a bunch when it happens on our soil. our kids are more valuable when they're on a college campus than when they're sporting a millitary uniform!? good dose of perspective. senseless.
