My move to Chicago is quickly approaching. I need to start packing, which I declare every weekend, but nothing ever seems to materialize. This weekend has got to be that weekend. Also I need to find a job...which I might just do what this lady did to help with that. Check out some links to hold you over till Monday.

NY Times
-This is some scary stuff...seems a bit more pressing and real than that "killer bee invasion" of years back. Einstein has stated the humans can only live 4 years without bees. You're concrete bunker won't save you now!
-Well once we kill all the bees and can't live here anymore we can at least move here.
-Blog comments on NY Times hip hop article are ridiculous here is one choice one by Richard:
"of course you can’t "blame hip hop." Only white people ever have to take the blame for anything. Blacks can do whatever they want and never have to answer. That’s what the double standard is all about."
What a moron. People can be so stupid and really have no idea what hip hop is all about. Ohh yeah and Richard the path of the white male has been so laced with hardship and struggle.

It's really amazing to me that the Don Imus incident has come back to primarily target the black community. It's just really telling that instead of an examination of the conditions of blacks in America, or even of women in America, we instead have focused on a flashy, cheap, symbolic victory against... hip-hop!? How can anyone seriously believe that the editing of three words on mainstream television and radio is going to possibly bring about, or even meaningfully contribute to, the end of misogyny.

Way to go America.... way to go.
