Cool project that Blue Note did back in 2004 featuring remakes by J-Dilla, Madlib, 4Hero, Kenny Dope, Herbert and others of some Blue Note classics. I love jazz and of course love the downtempo stuff so this made for a great listen. Listen to the The Miles Davis Quintet's version (Herbie Hancock on piano, Ron Carter on bass, Wayne Shorter on sax who I also believe wrote the composition) then the re-do by AG favorite DJ Mehdi.
