Awesome new record from the Afro-beat Ubiquity group Antibalas. Security is the fourth full length album that showcases this groups talent and prowess in the genre.
Antibalas or "Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra" is a Brooklyn-based collective of musicians founded in 1998 by bandleader Martin Perna. The group ranges up to 14 members at times and many of their beats hover around the 7 minute mark. This latest album was produced by John McEntire (Stereolab, Tortoise, Sea and Cake, Tom Ze).
