The French know good electronic music. Superstars Daft Punk and Air make that evident. Premiers Symptomes and Moon Safari rank as two of my my favorite electro albums of all time and the Virgin Suicides Soundtrack isn't too shabby either.
The new Air record Pocket Symphony (out Febuary 6th) is being leaked all over the place. Their 2006 mixtape Late Night Tales: Air was fantastic and is a must own and what I have heard so far of the new record its going to be great. Check out what I would heg my bets on being the first single.
The album was recorded with Nigel Godrich over the last year and a half. Both Nicolas Godin and JB Dunckel (aka Darkel), sing on the album, and Jarvis Cocker and the Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon contribute vocals as well.
