I've gotten a heap of complaints about me using you send it links. I understand that the songs go fast (100 downloads) and many of them are vultured by people that just scan hype machine and don't even visit this page. I think there is merit in not leaving songs up forever because as we need to remind ourselves its about promoting good music and support artists we think are great.

SO long story short I have moved to XDrive and will be hosting songs for 7 days. I don't believe there is a download limit (we will see!) so that shouldn't be an issue. AFTER 7 days are up you can email me and if I have time and know that you are an AG regular I'd be happy to make exceptions outside the 7 days.

Ok...back to talking about music and other non-related topics. Ohh and be sure to let me know if XDrive is not all that its cracked up to be.

bmruhThank you. much respect for sharing.

I definitely wanna to say that Analog is good on its word when it comes to files that are gone after 7 days or 100 downloads. Diggin Mavado for sure :)

funnily enough, i was thinking of "complaining" about yousendit, too. there's nothing worse than not being able to get on a computer for a few days, checking AG and finding you've uploaded some more dope tracks only for them to have expired.

anyways, props on changing host. big-ups to AG for xmas. peaz.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

As someone who has actually been reading this blog regularly I can't tell you how many times I've decided to skip downloading and listening to a track just because I'm lazy and hate having to go through extra clicks. That goes for any of the blogs I frequent. It also get's distracting with extraneous windows open or being navigated away from the main page.

Usually if I hear about something that I realy want on such a blog I look it up on the Hype Machine and grab it from somewhere else. I've found a lot of my regular reads through that method. That's why finding a hosting service that allowed hotlinking was priority when I was setting up my blog.

I'm sure I'll be getting a lot more sonic accomponiment to your commentary now that you've made the switch.

Thanks for this. I'm a regular reader and it is hard to get to the tracks in time, sometimes. This helps, so thank you and keep it up. You like good stuff

Thank you as most have said. I usually get to you everyday, and the downloads would be gone. Shows how popular you are in this blogworld. I frequent this site for the hard to find stuff you put up and let us know about. I'm a big believer in supporting artists and buying something from them after I decide I like what they are putting out. I do believe that computers and filesharing is truly not helping the artist. Besides the fact that some of them would never even be heard without it - so it is kind of a catch 22. Keep bringing the funk - especially stuff you think is not very known - you are spreading allot of good music I otherwise would probably not know about.
