New respect for Stephen Colbert as he lets it rip. Amazing job of showing that nobody is safe from being the brunt of Colbert's jokes. Thx MMM for the heads up.

I love the way the laughter gets more forced and hollow as the press realise that this guy really does have nothing but contempt for them.

Interesting bit of self-censorship in the UK over this: all the coverage has been of the Bush v Bush precursor that showed what a great guy the prez really is. Very lapdog stuff from the BBC for example - which, after correctly exposing some of the WMD lies, has very quickly learnt that it is not allowed to challenge the government in any serious way.
