Well this is probably about as close to a Vermont mc as you can get. Esoteric from Boston, MA combined with 7L to produce some amazing albums. Most notably Speaking Real Words in 1999. This is his latest work released on Feb. 14th.
This limited addition disc highlights Esoteric's resume in the indy/underground hip hop world. Too Much Posse chronicles Eso's 10 years worth of non-album collaborations work, from the early days with fellow Boston upstarts Mr. Lif and Virtuoso, to more recent collaborations with the Demigodz and even professional wrestler John Cena. The album goes coast to coast combining with an amazing array underground heavy-hitters.
The album features Celph Titled, Apathy, Main Flow, Virtuoso, Jedi Mind Tricks, Bahamadia, Shabaam Sahdeeq, J-Live, Breez Evahflowin, and Akrobatik. Anyone familiar with 7L & Esoteric will recognize the tracks on this disc, regardless listening to them again is impressive. Enjoy the beats.
