Forgot to hype this up in my Chappelle on Oprah post but everyone needs to check out the trailer for the new Dave Chappelle block party movie. Its coming out March 3rd. Not sure if it is going to be playing in Montpelier, Vermont but it looks awesome. Its a mix of Dave Chappelle's sketch comedy and musical interludes, inspired in part by the 1973 documentary Wattstax.
The party is features:
Kanye West, Common, Erykah Badu, The Fugees, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Bilal, Freeway, and Central State University Marching Band.
The movie is directed by Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind).
