"We must learn together as brothers or perish together as fools."

"Cowardice asks the question - is it safe? Expediency asks the question - is it politic? Vanity asks the question - is it popular? But conscience asks the question - is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because it is right."

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate only love can do that."

Today marks the birth of the greatest human being America has ever known. His drive, his pride, and his vision is unparalleled. His cause and promotion of non-violence and racial equality is still being fought today. He would have been 77.

For peace.
For justice.
Rest in peace Dr. King.

Enjoy this day of remembrance and don't forget that the struggle is far from over.
