While we are over halfway I would hate to miss the opportunity to take a look back at my favorite records of 2009 so far. I would love to hear from readers regarding their top records for 2009. Maybe I can find some records I haven't listened to yet. Check out the list.

nice list man, i need to check some of these out for sure. glad to see mos def here, that's my favorite hip-hop album so far this year by a pretty wide margin.

nice to see gaslamp killer, mos def, phoenix, nosaj thing, miike snow, and lindstrom/prins thomas getting love.
