British electro-soul singer, Jamie Woon's latest song, "Lady Luck" now has a video treatment, that matches the melodic pace of the track.

Fellow UK electronic producer, Hudson Mohawke gets his hands on "Lady Luck", slows it down, adds a stabbing bass, and more for his re-fix. Lady Luck (Hudson Mohawke's Schmink Wolf Re-fix) by woon

Woon's "Moonwriting" debut album comes out on April 18th.

Hello der,

I like the blog. Thanks for all the new bands to look up. I’m promoting an interesting one off project, Suede Ape, that brought together some pretty talented and creative LA musicians from different backgrounds including Geoff Rowan (In Sepia), and Andrew Monzon (Last Legs). Instead of a typical guitar, bass, drums line up, some electronic elements (kaos pad, synth, drum pad, etc.) were used to keep it fresh. There was no big concept besides the simple idea of editing a jam into an album, but that’s kind of what's exciting about an unplanned thing like this: your not sure where it will go. Have a listen. See if you like…

Thanks!
