I know I am not the first person to this track but I hope I am not the last. Awesome remix of Cinnamon Chasers track "I am watching you" by Diamond Cut.

French musician Danger released his new album yesterday. Danger aka Franck Rivoire dropped these remixes back in 2008 and 2 years later I just got around to listening to them. Check them out and be sure to pick up his new record - 9/17/2007.

I apologize for the lack of posting. I am away on a business trip. Anyways I am excited to talk about today's record release by Daedelus on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder Records. First off the album title is one of the most amazing I have heard in awhile Righteous Fists of Harmony conjures up some many images and is a great play on war and peace. What I have heard so far its fantastic.

The first single certainly has that lounge bossa nova sound that is great to relax to.
I would be remiss not to post what Daedelus himself said about the upcoming record. When I met him he was a really nice guy and came across as thoughtful and very caring you can see that from his discussion about album:

"I am quite proud that the days have passed and we've come to this; "Righteous Fists of Harmony" a record release from the powerful Brainfeeder label (Flying Lotus' imprint) was smoldering for sometime, and now has been released worldwide. You can find it through-out the digital world, as well on lush vinyl, but really I wanted to muse on the musical world in which we live.

It is at an extraordinary time that so much fantastic music can be created, distributed, and even so easily forgotten. So often my life has been changed by a mysterious 12" or inbox sent mp3, that I cannot fathom what someone is to do without 24 hours spent everyday on musical matter like I do. So to those who have spent a little time listening to myself, or better still the many many excellent musicians of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Glasgow, Manchester, Lyon, Rome, and on and on - thank you heartily. And may this or my next offering change your minutes, hours, or days; if just a little, for the better."

Its cool to see down to earth people that are so talented but are so enjoyable that you can't help but root for them to succeed. Well done again Alfred.

James Pants, Spokane Washington native has a new record out on Stones Throw. He says his new LP, Seven Seals, is inspired by the book of Revelations, Carl Jung and various mystical books...I am not totally sure what that even means. His new approach is certainly darker and takes his music in a more psychedelic direction. "Thin Moon" remains one of my favorite tracks of the year (awesome cover here).

Cobblestone Jazz the BC group has just released new album titled The Modern Deep Left Quartet. The four are not jazz as their bandname might suggest. They are a dance electro outfit which combines a nice mixture of house grooves and "below-the-belt analog funk." Think Tosca.

The group consists of Mathew Jonson, Danuel Tate and Tyger Dhula Colin de la Plante. The jazz influence is seen on how the tracks throughout the record add complexity and evolve over time. "Fiesta" is the single off the record and I recommend you check it out.

Simon Green aka Bonobo has his 4th album out. It is arguably his best yet. While I wish Bajka was featured on a couple tracks Andreya Triana does an excellent job adding vocals on this record. Bonobo manages to blend music from a variety of diverse sources - his typical downtempo beat driven sound, Brazilian, Chinese art movie, soul and jazz. Its really a great recording. Check out a track.

My dude Poirier joins forces with Face-T and Crookers to bring this massive track. Watch a bunch of Canadians lose it. Nice work.

Poirier's new album Running High is coming up in a few weeks on Ninja Tune.

There is a ton of these but I of course love this one from the humble and talented DÂM-FUNK. For a kid that really doesn't know anything about making music its really cool to learn things about production, mastering, songwriting, remixing, arrangements, DJing, drum programming, and a bunch of other things.

Some really amazing artists on here. One of the cooler websites and projects I have come across in awhile.

Great track from Finnish Egibe Abenda. Michael Cassette takes the track to the next level in my opinion on the remix. Looking forward to hearing more from both Egibe and Mr. Cassette.

New jam by Breakbot. The EP is entitled Baby I'm Yours. I cannot wait for a full record which I hope is coming very soon. Breakbot has some really fantastic remixes out there that you have to check out if you haven't. Breakbot is signed Ed Banger Records alongside Justice, Mr. Oizo and DJ Medhi. Some of the Ed Banger cats will be down in Miami for WMC if you wanna check them out. Here is a remix off the single.

New music from Denver, Co. In the STS9 vein of music The Biz provides a nice blend of electronic, hip hop and soul. Its a really great sound. I recommend that you check it out. Their latest record The Ancient Future is name your price (like Radiohead did with In Rainbows) for download from their website. Couldn't really ask for much more than that.

Really great use of technology on their site. Well done.

Late pass required on this hit. Been watching the HBO series How to Make it in America and the opening track of that is amazing. Still not quite sold on the show yet.

The title track is by Aloe Blacc no stranger to Analog Giant given his previous track record of great LPs. The track produced by Truth and Soul, and is backed by the Expressions and El Michels Affair, “I Need A Dollar” is one of the best songs for 2010 for sure.
